MEET OUR FOUNDER
DR. AMON MUNYANEZA
Dr. Amon Munyaneza founded Seven Wells in 2003 to help children lacking access to education. Born into a Rwandan refugee family in Uganda, he understood limited opportunity firsthand, beginning school at age eleven and experiencing how education can change a life.
Over time, that commitment grew into a broader conviction that educating a child matters, but lasting transformation requires strengthening the whole family. Seven Wells therefore evolved toward helping families build sustainable livelihoods, productive assets, economic stability, and the capacity to create opportunities for others.
Amon’s own journey mirrors that vision. He earned degrees in business and ministry management, an MBA in Finance, and a Doctor of Business Administration. For more than two decades, he has worked across Africa in education, ministry, entrepreneurship, investment, and economic development. Today, at Open Space Capital, he focuses on structured finance and private equity for impact enterprises and large-scale community infrastructure.
